When we were downtown, Lisa got to see the Tattered Cover for the first time ever. It should have happened a long time ago. Considering our love for all things nerdy, a great bookstore like that should never have slipped through the cracks. Here's Lisa enjoying a nerd mag:
After the tattered cover we picked up some coffee and walked the 16th street mall for a while. We found a really great street musician and camped out to listen to him (and don't worry, we paid for our little private concert). Lisa made Josh pose for a picture against the sky line. It was overall a great day:
Overall it was a great "vacation" and we really had a great time.
We also got a new JUICER!!! Josh has been busy juicing the entire produce section of the grocery store and Lisa has been busy learning how to make really pretty omelets. We were so proud of the breakfast we made a few weekends ago we took a picture. The other day Josh also juiced 18 (!) oranges with some strawberries, it was pretty awesome.

Thanks for linking to my blog! It looks like we have a lot in common:
1) Lisa's a med student. I'm a med student. So far, so good.
2) You love all things nerdy. I love all things nerdy. We're 2 for 2.
3) You make juice. I make smoothies. Smoothies = juice w/less cleanup.
4) Your golden retriever runs like a penguin. My black labrador retriever ran just like a penguin. What is the chance that this similarity could randomly occur?
(Didn't mean to scare Lisa -- that's a rhetorical question, not required knowledge for the USMLE!)
5) You live in Colorado. I live in New Jersey. Oh, wait. Well, I love Colorado. I've spent a lot of time in what I consider the most beautiful state in the union. Close enough.
